ALM: The Workflow Conqueror (16:59 minutes)
"ALM goes a long way to be able to conquer the various workflows," says
Todd Eaton, director of ALM tools and services at McKesson. "Within an
organization, there will be various workflows being done, but you're
still able to bring up those measurements, like another point that you
are bringing up, and have a fairly decent comparison."

Today's Story Highlights

WHO Connects Cellphones With Cancer Risk
After reviewing data from previous studies, the International Agency for
Research on Cancer released a statement Tuesday asserting cellphones are
possibly carcinogenic toward humans. The report was put together in
Lyon, France, after a week-long conference with international experts
for the IARC, which is the cancer arm of the World Health Organization.

New Malware Variant Jukes Apple's Bug Fix
As promised, Apple on Tuesday released a security update to combat
MacDefender, a type of fake antivirus malware that had targeted the Mac
OS X platform over the last few weeks. On Wednesday, however, hackers
apparently managed to figure out an end-run around its solution. Apple's
fix updates its malware definition list daily, and it searches for and
removes known variants of the MacDefender malware.

VirtualBox 4 Builds a Clean Sandbox Inside Your Linux Desktop
Constantly testing software and tinkering with a variety of Linux
operating systems puts my multiple test-bench computers to constant use.
Granted, Linux comes with a lot fewer security risks. But dealing with
unknown factors and beta glitches can be time consuming to correct when
they take down an entire box.

Who Watches the Watchmen, Part 1: A World Gone Mad
When the very companies that provide us security technology are
themselves either getting hacked or hamstrung with security flaws, how
can we be sure that our computers have any protection at all?Within the
space of just over a month, security issues hit three major players in
the security field -- RSA, McAfee and LastPass.

Dell's XPS 15z: Making a Case to a Prosumer Market
As mobile computing has evolved from the exception to the norm, many
vendors have attempted to imbue their products with a certain high-end
cachet. Some succeeded beyond measure and expectation, even with devices
that were initially technologically flawed. Others have developed
products which initially seemed destined for commercial success but were
abandoned in a matter of weeks.
