Podcast
The Sky-High Expectations Surrounding Mobile Networks (23:34 minutes)
Users today want to be able to access more services using more devices.
They want coordination across all the platforms they use, they want
security and privacy, and they want the full support of their IT
departments. It's all a very tall order, and networks will need to
adjust rapidly or the latency and hassle of access and performance
issues will get in the way of users, their new expectations, and their
behaviors.

Making the Most of Chrome in the Cloud
I've got a mini-laptop hooked up to my TV, a larger laptop on my desk, a
7-inch tablet in my back pocket for reading at coffee shops, a 10-incher
that floats around the loft and rarely goes outside, and a 4.3-inch
smartphone that works well on crowded transportation systems -- all
lacking in synchronicity.

EU Commish: Don't Act on ACTA
The European Commission, the executive body of the European Union, asked
the European Parliament not to vote on the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade
Agreement, or ACTA. ACTA, which is designed to harmonize international
copyright regulations and enforcement, is scheduled for a vote in June.

Google Glass Project Sees the World Through AR-Tinted Glasses
Google has revealed its long-rumored plans to create augmented reality
eyeglasses. Augmented reality is a live, direct or indirect view of a
physical environment that's augmented by computer-generated input such
as sound, video, graphics or GPS data. Project Glass, which is part of
Google X Lab, is overseeing work on the AR glasses.

The Pain Never Ends: RIM Takes a Patent Blow to the Gut
Research In Motion has been accused of infringing six patents owned by
